Pickens County Sheriff's Office Press Release

 

Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on 9-21-2021 the Pickens County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at a residence on Liberty Road.

The search warrant concluded a month long investigation into several burglaries in the Northern part of the County.

Deputies with Pickens County Sheriff's Office found a large amount of assorted drugs and drug paraphernalia along with many stolen items that had been taken during recent burglaries.

Four adults, Marty Moore, Thomas Lawson, Angela Chappelle and Jaime Pierce were arrested and an infant was placed in the custody of the Department of Human Resources.  Multiple Felony charges will be filed as this investigation continues to develop.

Sheriff Hall thanks everyone who came forward with information that led to the arrest of these suspects.  Sheriff Hall encourages citizens to contact local Law Enforcement if you have information about criminal activity or suspicious behavior.
